"Valerie Carmet’s mosaic work is creative, beautiful and expertly executed. I purchased her award winning piece “Les Negresses Oranges” for my own home where it is the showpiece in my living room. There is not one person who does not comment on it. I have also commissioned projects for clients whereby she takes an old, underutilized piece of furniture and transforms it into a work of art, in specific color schemes, using antique ceramics and plates.
