- Well, if you have already read the previous workshop descriptions you can start to feel the pressure building up a little.

Even if "Student" sounds like beginners Music to some of you, this is nevertheless our pivot workshop.

It's specifically designed for the novice seeking a short, basic and effective training in the Art of Mosaic.
In similarity to the New Horizon workshop, everything is supplied: Tools, adhesives, grout, media, aprons and other necessary gears.

Basic and kept simple media and raw materials choice is limited to four (4): Small tray, Flower pot, Glass vase or a Board you can turn into a little table or mosaic/picassiette mural piece.
Materials are limited to: Smalti (Mexico), glass, tiles and plates.
The Student Workshop is a hands-on mosaic class where you will learn and practice through the construction of your project.

You will have Valerie's permanent and close attention during the realization of your piece and through the entire workshop. She will give out her personal tips, therefore benefiting from her experience.

Included at the very beginning of this workshop is an introductory class which purpose is to have a glance at the history of mosaic and view books and prior students portfolios; should your inspiration be in need of ignition.

At the conclusion of this workshop you will possess the foundations for making Mosaics on your own. While you are given the "tools", please consider that practice is everything; keeping alive your experience and expanding it is one ingredient for guaranteed Mosaic success.
